Can I Upload My Existing Handbook?
Yes! You can upload an existing handbook to VirgilHR instead of creating one from scratch. The system will analyze your document and suggest missing policies to ensure compliance with the latest regulations.
Uploading an Existing Handbook
1️⃣ Start the Upload Process
- Navigate to the Handbook section from the left navigation menu.
- Click New Handbook at the top-left corner of the page.
- Enter your Company Name (required) and Handbook Name (optional).
- Click Next to proceed.
2️⃣ Select the Upload Option
- Choose Upload Handbook when prompted to select a creation method.
- Drag and drop your file into the upload area or click Click to Upload to browse your device.
3️⃣ Analyze & Review Suggested Policies
- Once uploaded, VirgilHR will analyze your handbook and suggest any missing policies that should be included for compliance.
- Review the recommendations and decide which policies to add.
4️⃣ Customize Your Handbook
- Edit, remove, or rearrange policies as needed.
- Use the Rearrange button to adjust the order of sections and policies.
- Add custom policies if needed.
5️⃣ Finalize & Save
- Click Preview to review the updated handbook.
- If everything looks good, click Save & Complete to finalize the process.
