How Do I Access My Tasks?

The Task List in VirgilHR helps you track upcoming, completed, and overdue tasks. Tasks can be manually created by you or your team, or they may be automatically generated by the system when linked to a legal update or other detected compliance requirements.


Viewing Your Tasks

  1. Hover over the left navigation menu and click the Tasks tab.
  2. You will be directed to the Task page, which lists all tasks assigned to you or your team.
  3. Newly onboarded users will have access to all relevant tasks created in the last 2 months.
  4. Tasks can be:
    • Manually created by you or your team.
    • Auto-generated if linked to a legal update or other compliance requirement detected by the system.
  5. To see more details for an individual task, click the View button on the right side of each task listing.
    1. A detailed view of the task, including assigned users, due date, and task notes, will be displayed.




Troubleshooting & Additional Help

  • Why can’t I see my tasks?

    • Tasks assigned more than 2 months ago may not be visible for new users.
  • My task disappeared—where did it go?

    • The task may have been completed or reassigned. Try checking with your team members.
    • If the task was deleted, it cannot be restored.
  • Why was a task auto-created?

    • Tasks can be automatically generated if linked to a legal update or another compliance issue detected by the system.
    • Check if the task is associated with an item in the Compliance Calendar.

  • I see overdue tasks—how do I resolve them?

    • Open the task and review the due date. If necessary, update the deadline.
    • Mark the task as Completed if it has been finished.
