How Do I Find Upcoming Legal Changes Relevant to Me?

VirgilHR allows you to filter legal updates by time period and location to quickly find what matters most to you.

📌 The location filter determines the state-specific legal updates you receive in email notifications. If you update the location filter, it will directly impact the compliance alerts sent to your inbox.

  1. On the Home page, go to the Compliance Calendar (top-right corner).
  2. Click This Month to open the timeline filter options.
  3. Select one of the following date ranges:
    • This Month
    • Last Month
    • Next Month
    • This Year
    • Custom Range (Enter a start and end date).
  4. Click Apply to filter updates based on the selected time period.

📌 Need to reset your filters? Click Reset in the top-right corner to return to the default view (This Month).

  1. On the Home page, go to the Compliance Calendar (top-right corner).
  2. Click All States & National to open the location filter.
  3. Select from the following options:
    • National (Federal Updates)
    • Specific U.S. States
  4. Click Apply to view only updates relevant to your selected locations.
